Teaching Assistant Vacancies

BAND 4 or 5, 32.5hrs per week, term time only + 3 days, fixed term until August 2022

Nurture Academies Trust require a number of teaching assistants to be based at Parkwood Primary School in Keighley.  This is a fantastic opportunity especially suited to ambitious and enthusiastic people interested in furthering their skills and careers.  Through our association with Bradford Birth to 19 Teaching School and SCITT, we have a proven track record in developing staff to further their careers.  Therefore, we are especially interested in graduates who have aspirations to become teachers or experienced people interested in extending their skill set.

Vacancy Information

Parkwood is a one form entry school with a new Resource Provision for pupils with language and communication difficulties and Autism.  We require some TA’s to work in classes and others to work between classes and the RP supporting individual pupils.

We are looking for people who have:

  • an interest in making a difference to the lives of our pupils
  • skills in supporting pupils with SEN and who are able to support ASD pupils in class and within the Resource Provision.
  • high aspirations for all pupils
  • a nurturing approach to dealing with children, including those who are in crisis
  • a growth mindset and a positive attitude
  • good English and maths skills
  • enthusiasm to be part of our dedicated and hardworking team
