An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of SENCO across school & Lead Teacher in our resources provision (RP) for autism. 

Vacancy Information

Our RP is well established, we were one of the first to open in Bradford and now the largest primary RP in the district. We have fantastic, dedicated staff who work 1:1 with the pupils in our care to ensure they are able to access a mainstream primary education. We are proud of our RP and passionate about ensuring that pupils thrive in our care. 

All of our staff are determined that every pupil is able to achieve their best and we have a whole school approach to SEND, making sure that everyone is supported in the best way possible so they can be their very best self.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure that the SEN Register is kept accurate and up to date and that staff are kept informed of pupil special educational needs
  • Lead the provision of special educational needs learning support, including the allocation of support time and the writing of individual education health care plans
  • Lead the RP for autism, including the management of support staff and the DSP Manager 
  • Liaise with relevant outside agencies to ensure that individual pupil special educational needs are met effectively and that the requirements of statements of special educational need are met fully and personalised learning is appropriate for each child’s needs
  • Ensure that accurate and detailed records are kept of meetings and discussions with  parents and outside agencies
  • Lead all academic and social and emotional assessment  of our children within the RP.
