The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile which is shown in this advert, outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate.  Therefore, it is essential that you provide examples in your application.

An exciting opportunity to make a difference to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the Bradford District.

Bradford Council is seeking to appoint an Access and Inclusion Officer with significant experience, knowledge and skills of working with children with SEND.  Access and Inclusion Officers support Private Voluntary and Independent (PVI) settings and childminders to develop their inclusive practices for children accessing early education entitlement. We support settings to meet the individual needs of children with SEND accessing the provision. We also provide high quality training for PVIs to support them meeting the needs of children with SEND and work closely with partner professionals working with the child.
