VACANCY
Part time Clerical Assistant to cover maternity leave
25 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm, Term time only
Start date to be confirmed however no later than 15th November 2021
Home Farm Primary School is a 2 form entry school on the outskirts of Bradford. We wish to appoint a Clerical Assistant to cover a Maternity leave.
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of working in a school environment. Previous experience of working with SIMS and Pupil Attendance monitoring would be desirable.
Vacancy Information
The range of duties will include reception duties, word processing, data input, filing, maintaining records and general administrative duties. Knowledge of SIMs and school administration procedures desirable. Previous experience of Pupil attendance management advantageous.
We are looking for somebody who:
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with staff, pupils, parents, carers and other educational professionals
- Has good ICT skills and knowledge of every day computer packages
- Has good organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to multi-task in a busy office
- Is polite, professional and has a friendly manner
- Is able to work in a team and on their own initiative.
