Pay Scale: SCP’S 17–22/11-16 Depending on experience

The Academy Council and Trust Board of this rapidly improving school are looking to appoint an inspirational person  who can support the Senior Leadership Team in providing high quality nurture provision across the school.

Vacancy Information

We believe that every child in our school is entitled to high quality Nurture support. The school is looking for a practitioner who can build on the many successes of our  established  Nurture team to ensure that our children are able to communicate their feelings and have the best possible environment to learn and flourish.

Our new Nurture Lead will be able to:

• Lead small group and whole class nurture sessions
• Use their own individual talents to lead enrichment sessions which fulfil our intent. These could include: gardening, crafts, outdoor learning or forest schools, textiles
• Structure targeted support for specific SEMH needs
• Support our Attendance Lead and Home School Support Worker in improving attendance for those who are regularly absent from school
• Promote mental health and wellbeing strategies for our school community
• Work effectively with parents and carers to support them in doing what is right for their family
• Cover staff absence and PPA
• Be an active member of the school’s safeguarding team
