Vacancy Summary

Bowling Park Primary School wishes to appoint two outstanding Class Teachers to join our exceptional school.

Vacancy Information

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about teaching at Bowling Park Primary School.

We are very proud of our children, our school and the community we serve. We want all our children to enjoy learning, to take pride in their achievements and to have the highest expectations of themselves. Many of our children and families face significant challenges but working together as a school community, our children make exceptional progress (our most recent progress scores were amongst the highest in the country). We are not an ordinary school.

Our school is about preparing children for their future and lives in modern Bradford, Britain and the wider world. We work together with families to build children’s expectations, skills, knowledge and ambitions. We want to give all our children - regardless of their starting point, background, faith, gender, ability or ethnicity - the opportunity to be successful learners, to develop real leadership and communication skills and to be happy, confident and compassionate individuals. Our extensive personal development programme (GEM) allows all our children opportunities to be explorers, artists, creators, performers and truly enjoy participating in sports. You can find out more about all of this on our YouTube channel, Facebook, Twitter and our school website.

Developing excellent teaching is at the heart of everything we do. We work alongside a range of the best professional organisations to develop and support teachers so they can not only enjoy their work but also access highly effective professional development. As a school, we have established a track record for developing excellent practitioners and growing our own teachers, middle and senior leaders. We love to watch our staff grow, develop and enjoy new opportunities and achievements. Teaching at Bowling Park is not always easy. Thoughtful, resilient and compassionate team players fit in well here.

If you think you might be just what we are looking for and are ready for the excitement and challenge of joining our team then we can’t wait to hear from you.
