Site Manager - Required as soon as possible
Permanent - 36 hours per week
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Site Manager to join our committed and friendly team of staff based at Glenaire Primary School.

The successful candidate will use their own initiative and will be responsible for the cleanliness, safety and security of the building and grounds, heating, lighting, general maintenance around the school and ensuring Health & Safety compliance on site.
Previous experience of premises management in an educational environment, along with health and safety knowledge would be advantageous. The candidate will be expected to carry out all the responsibilities of a key holder - opening and locking the school and emergency call outs.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage the site, buildings and grounds and maintaining a clean, safe, and purposeful environment
- Take responsibility for security and Health and Safety
- Have a good knowledge of health and safety procedures, including IOSH, and COSHH
- Undertake a range of minor repairs, maintenance and decorating
- A positive, hardworking and friendly team player
- Manage the cleaning team
- Flexible and able to work across other sites, occasional weekend or late evenings if required
- Undertake some grounds maintenance
On site accommodation may be available to a suitable candidate (to be discussed at interview)
Full training and induction will be provided for successful candidates.
