Our Governing Body are seeking to appoint a skilled, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Support Assistant to join our school, initially in our Reception class.

The role will require someone who can offer one to one support for children with additional needs. Experience of working with primary age children is essential. Any experience of working with children with ASC would be desirable.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a compassionate and caring approach to working with children, parents and colleagues
  • Share the school vision and promote the ethos of the school
  • Deliver learning and behavioural interventions, under guidance from the Class Teacher
  • Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Effectively manage behaviours
  • Have a commitment to nurturing success in every child
  • Work closely with the Reception staff team and Inclusion manager
  • Work with a dedicated, friendly staff team
