Before and After School Coordinator  
30 hours per week, Term time .
Hours of Work: 7.15- 9:15am  and 2.30-6.30pm term time. 
Salary: Level 3 Band 8 (SCP 17-22)
Start date: 2nd November 2020

Blakehill Primary School is looking for an experienced manager to lead our own before and after school club.  The role involves managing a team of staff to provide excellent before and after school care. 

This includes creating and adhering to policies and risk assessments and meeting all statutory requirements.  

Vacancy Information

We are looking for a candidate who will: 

• Have a full and relevant Level 3 qualification, or equivalent or above.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in childcare
• Have management experience in a childcare or relevant setting
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child development, the EYFS, Ofsted and safeguarding requirements
• Have a current paediatric First Aid certificate
• Have high expectations and be committed to raising standards
• Be creative, innovative and be able to inspire others
• Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills to at least GCSE level grade C or above 
• Have the commitment to help each child fulfil their full potential
• Have the ability to work as part of a team and use their own initiative
