Teaching Assistant – to support a child with an EHCP
30 hours per week - Term Time Only
Fixed Term for up to 1 year due to the post being externally funded by an Education Health Care Plan
Band 5 SCP 4 – 6
Required as soon as possible

The Governors seek to appoint an enthusiastic, caring Teaching Assistant to join the strong staff team working in Key Stage 1 in this high performing, popular and friendly school. This will be to provide 1:1 support for a child with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition.

You will need to be committed to developing inclusion, have experience of working with young children and have a calm, positive and confident manner.

  • Be willing to support the wider work of the school
  • be a well organised, friendly, and flexible team player, with good interpersonal skills
  • be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and other professionals
