The Priestley Academy Trust is a collaboration of five primary schools close to the city centre of Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We are a dedicated and hardworking Trust and we aim to be at the forefront of new initiatives to raise standards and broaden the range of experiences for our pupils.

We are currently looking for an EYP (maternity cover) to work at Green Lane Primary School in order to complement the existing team. We welcome enquiries from everyone and value diversity in our workforce.

The EYP post will be primarily in Reception but you may be required to work across a range of early years settings, from 2 year olds to Reception. Previous Early Years’ experience is essential.

The successful applicants will have:

  • A willingness to participate in development and training opportunities
  • GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent eg. Adult Literacy/Numeracy at level 1
  • Relevant early Years qualification (at least Level 2) for EYP’s post
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age and special educational needs or relevant experience eg voluntary organisation, parental caring responsibility
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • The ability to cope with the requirements of the post, which may include working with pupils who have emotional and behavioural difficulties or physical difficulties
