Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)
Required for September 2020

Part time - 2 - 3 days per week (to be confirmed)

At Hoyle Court Primary School we really do believe that every child matters. Our long standing SENCO/Deputy Headteacher has been promoted. This provides an exciting opportunity to develop a fresh perspective alongside our newly formed leadership team.  We are a highly inclusive school that places children at the heart of all that we do.

Vacancy Information

We are therefore seeking someone who can lead, model and develop best practice, to ensure all our pupils learning needs are comprehensively met. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of having substantial impact on the outcomes of vulnerable pupils. They will also be able to demonstrate how their practice has impacted positively at a whole school level. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to:

  • Think whole-school and strategically about the needs of all pupils
  • Contribute to the senior leadership team
  • Manage their workload and time efficiently
  • Lead and support our staff so they can meet the needs of vulnerable pupils
  • Communicate effectively with adults at all levels and children of all abilities
  • Read and utilise data
