Vacancy Information

Oastlers School, established in 2013, is now expanding both on site at Flockton Road and a new building that will be located in the Keighley area where our vision is to enhance our existing offer to include vocational and additional foundation subjects.

We are seeking to recruit highly committed teacher who will have additional leadership responsibilities. You need a ‘can do’ attitude, vision, aspiration, ambition and experience of belonging to a multi-agency community.

We require a teacher for Oastlers@Keighley delivering a broad, balanced, relevant and enjoyable curriculum as well as supporting the Head of Centre.

You need to be someone who is able to cope with highly complex problems, particularly in child protection.  Some of our learners are involved in risk-taking activities such a substance misuse, going missing, vulnerability to exploitation and much more.  They may lead chaotic lifestyles and experience family turbulence. You will need to be someone experienced in these issues but one who provides clear, solution based approaches to enable our learners to succeed and fulfil their ambitions despite the challenges.

If you are invited to an interview for this post you will need to allow a full day to attend.
