Finance Assistant
Actual:  £13,524pa - £16,620pa
Permanent – Full Time, 30 hours per week, Term time plus one week
To commence as soon as possible
(please note the 30 hrs can be worked flexibly over the course of the week and there will be an opportunity to discuss the working pattern/working hours further as part of the recruitment process)

Vacancy Information

We are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to support our Academies (Co-op Academy Southfield & Co-op Academy Grange). 

You will:

  • Assist in efficiently processing orders, invoices, deliveries, income, petty cash, school fund, chase debtors
  • Undertake all other finance administration under the guidance of the Business Manager
  • Have excellent numeracy and literacy qualifications and have excellent ICT skills and organisational skills
  • Be able to build strong working relationships with, and influence the work of others, where there is no supervisory / management relationship. You’ll also be flexible, self-motivated & resilient
  • Have a good level of numeracy & literacy (GCSE English & Maths)
  • Hold a AAT qualification

Whilst not essential that you have experience of working within an education setting it would be desirable.
