The Governors of The Holy Family Catholic School are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Year Manager to join our existing team of highly skilled staff within the Holy Family Catholic School.
Our Year Managers are part of a wider pastoral team who are critical in supporting the behaviour, learning and well-being of our students throughout the whole of their time with us at the school. Developing positive relationships with parents/carers and most importantly the students and being driven by high expectations of attitudes, behaviour and aspirations are key aspects of this
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing behaviour and well-being on a daily basis and liaising with a range of professionals to intervene and support effective strategies to maximise all learners’ chances to thrive in our school and beyond. We expect the successful candidate to demonstrate a visible commitment to the wider school mission of ensuring that we ‘awaken minds’, ‘achieve dreams’ and ‘serve others’. As such they would be expected to have full involvement with the wider aspects of school life and the local community.
Applicants should hold GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics and should have some basic ICT skills. Relevant additional qualifications and experience especially in dealing with safeguarding would be an advantage but are not essential. This post is ideal for a patient, calm, resilient, and flexible individual who is passionate about sustainably improving standards and outcomes for students.
