We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor who is flexible in approach, reliable and well organised. The successful applicant will be required to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, maintaining good order and keeping pupils on task. The post holder will also contribute to other pupil supervision and administrative tasks.

Fixed term until 31 August 2020

Band 6/7 (SCP 6-17), 5 days (35 hours) per week, term time only + 5 days

Actual salary: £15,469 - £19,233

This role is crucial to ensuring our pupils’ hard work is supported by effective support systems, coupled with an understanding of maximising achievement. You will be able to relate well to pupils, staff and parents and maintain confidentiality. A good level of literacy, numeracy and ICT is essential, as is patience, a sense of humour and an ability to relate positively to young people. Previous experience of working with pupils in the 11-16 age range would be an advantage.

We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with outstanding facilities, a state of the art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed.  The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
