Frizinghall Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed class teacher to join our school which was rated as good by Ofsted in March 2022. The successful candidate will initially be based in KS2; however, the school is open to working with the right candidate to negotiate which year group they are based in.

Vacancy Information

In March 2022, Ofsted recognised that our mathematics curriculum ‘is coherently sequenced and has made clear the important information pupils need to learn.’ We are proud that ‘pupils demonstrate a wide range of mathematical knowledge and competence from an early age’ (Ofsted, March 2022). We are now looking forward to a new leader joining our school to drive further improvement.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Be a highly skilled teacher who leads through example
  • Have the ability, if not necessarily the experience, to lead mathematics within the school
  • Build strong relationships with the rest of the school’s SMT and the SLT
  • Support the aims and objectives of the school and be responsible for specific policies, related to mathematics, so that these aims can be achieved

We can offer you:

  • A hardworking staff team who are dedicated to school improvement
  • Friendly children who are keen to learn
  • Friendly children who ‘love Frizinghall’ (Ofsted, March 2022)
  • Parents who are ‘overwhelmingly positive about the school’ (Ofsted, March 2022)
  • The chance to further your career and professional development through wide ranging CPD and leadership opportunities

If you would like further information, please contact the school office on 01274 543072. Visits to the school are welcomed.
