BD17 5RHWe are looking to appoint a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a friendly and professional approach to fully support the Arts Faculty (Arts, Dance, Drama, Music and Display) to support Teaching and Learning, prioritising tasks to effectively support staff and pupils in achieving the best possible outcomes.
Arts Technician (Art, Dance, Drama, Music and Display)
Band 5 (SCP 4-6), 5 days 37 hours per week, all year round
Actual salary: £18,426 - £19,171
This is an exciting and challenging role and the successful applicant will have strong creative and practical skills, patience, a sense of humour and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be required to work on a wide variety of tasks in a number of departments within the Arts Faculty as well as give technical support to after school events and productions; in addition the successful candidate will be involved in creating and maintaining displays across the school site as well as within the Faculty.
It is essential that the successful candidate is able to work as part of a team, be flexible and adaptable to meet changing needs. With supervision you will be expected to plan and organise daily/weekly workloads, address unexpected/urgent tasks and prioritise so that deadlines are achieved.
We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school has outstanding facilities and a state of the art learning environment and we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
