Salary range: L8 – L14 (£48,808 - £56,579)
Permanent - Full Time 

After many years’ successful service, our Principal is retiring at the end of this academic year.  Trustees therefore seek to recruit an inspirational individual with a strong commitment, evidenced through a true passion for education coupled with delivery of outstanding teaching and learning, to improving the life chances of the children of our local community.

Excellent leadership is critical to ensuring the success of a school, so we expect our new Principal to guide the academy’s future direction, working with staff and Trustees, and using all his or her broad talents, knowledge and skills.

Our new Principal will be supported by a hardworking and effective complement of staff who, along with the Trustee Board and other members of the leadership team, enjoy working with pupils who are happy and well- motivated.

We are a small stand-alone primary academy with big expectations!  Our diverse and creative curriculum supports the development of the whole child and in 2019 our academy was ranked 14th in Calderdale for the percentage of children meeting (or exceeding!) expected standards in KS2 reading, writing and mathematics.  We expect the successful candidate to subscribe to our values of positivity, respect and determination.
