ICT Coach/ Technician

Salary 17 – 25, TTO Salary £19,974 - £24,668 (£23,836 p.a. – £28,785 p.a.)

Our children need someone who:

  • Has a high level of ICT skill and experience of working with Apple & PC Computers and software
  • Understands the demands of the new ICT curriculum

Duties may include - working alongside others:

  • Preparing and planning ICT teaching lessons/resources
  • Assessing children’s skills and maintaining records and data
  • Taking learning sessions
  • Using your initiative and working as part of a team or on your own
  • Supporting class teachers and assisting staff in the use of ICT
  • Assisting with the development of ICT and updating schools' website
  • To act as a contact point for IT support requests including lap tops and wireless networks
  • Ensuring all equipment is in good working order
  • Trouble shooting where needed.
  • Keeping abreast of new emerging technologies and keep key personnel informed
  • Working alongside and providing support to our external ICT support

A good level of literacy and numeracy is essential and previous experience of working with children in this field is beneficial.
